Shelly Verhoye has more than 20 years of experience as a trust officer and administrator, and is also a California notary public and an associate member of the Professional Fiduciaries Association of California (PFAC).
After beginning her career in the business trust division of the Union Bank of California, working with employee benefit trusts, 401(k) and retirement accounts for large corporations, Shelly moved into private banking. She found her calling in the area of personal trust and estate administration. After 14 years at UBOC, Shelly went to work for the Northern Trust Bank, then Western National Trust Company, continuing to focus on personal trust, IRA, investment agency and estate settlement accounts. In 2005, Shelly took a position at a local trust and estate planning law firm, learning the legal system behind the business of trust and estate administration.
Early in 2008, Shelly joined ProFiduciary as trust operations manager, overseeing client trust relationships -- including communications with clients, attorneys, accountants and other outside advisors -- taking great pride in her hands-on approach with her clients and their advisers. She also assists ProFiduciary founder Thomas Thale in the supervision of the office support staff.
Shelly, who is married and has a daughter in grade school, enjoys spending her spare time ballroom dancing or singing in her church choir.
