About

Dan Lanahan joined ProFiduciary in 2009 as a senior trust consultant. He got his start in the trust arena at American Security Bank in 1986 in Washington, D.C., where he specialized in trust and estate administration with an emphasis on post-mortem tax planning, including the preparation of personal, fiduciary and estate tax returns.

Dan first put down roots locally when he attended the University of San Diego. He graduated with a degree in business administration, then completed a law degree at the Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Although Washington eventually beckoned, Dan returned to San Diego in 1990 and spent nearly two decades at the Union Bank of California, La Salle Bank and Bank of America as a vice president and senior trust officer, handling various types of trusts, estates and conservatorships.

Dan, who is married and has three sons, likes to put in time at the golf course and tennis court -- especially with his boys -- when he's not meeting with clients or at the office.
