After beginning her career in the business trust division at Union Bank of California, working with employee benefit trusts, 401(k) and corporate retirement plans, Shelly moved into private banking working in personal trust and estate administration.  After 14 years at Union Bank, Shelly continued her career with other corporate trust departments, including Northern Trust Bank and Western National Trust Company, where she first met and worked with Thomas Thale, founder of ProFiduciary, Inc. In 2005, she accepted a position at a local trust and estate planning law firm, learning the legal system behind the business of trust and estate administration.

Shelly joined ProFiduciary, Inc. in January 2008 as Trust Administration Manager overseeing client trust relationships and assisting with the supervision and training of the office support staff. After becoming a Licensed Professional Fiduciary in 2012, she managed a wide variety of trust and estate matters and became well versed in the administration of Special Needs Trusts. More recently, she has been managing higher net worth trust and probate estate matters with commercial real estate, apartment rentals, LLCs, and various other diverse assets. Shelly has also gained significant experience with trust and estate litigation matters. She enjoys diversity in her work and takes pride in her hands-on approach with each of her clients and their advisors.
