Shelly Verhoye is a Licensed Professional Fiduciary with more than 25 years of experience in trust and estate administration.
After beginning her career in the business trust division at Union Bank of California, working with employee benefit trusts, 401(k) and corporate retirement plans, Shelly moved into private banking. She found her calling in the area of personal trust and estate administration. After 14 years at Union Bank, Shelly continued her career with other corporate trust departments, first at Northern Trust Bank and then with Western National Trust Company, where she first met and worked with Thomas Thale, founder of ProFiduciary. In 2005, she accepted a position at a local trust and estate planning law firm, learning the legal system behind the business of trust and estate administration.
Shelly joined ProFiduciary, Inc. in January of 2008 as the Trust Administration Manager overseeing client trust relationships and assisting with the supervision and training of the office support staff. After becoming a Licensed Professional Fiduciary in 2012, she managed a wide variety of trust and estate clients and became well versed in the administration of Special Needs Trusts. More recently, she has been managing trust and probate estates with commercial and rental properties, limited partnership interests, LLCs, and various other diverse assets. She has also gained significant experience with trust and estate litigation matters. She enjoys diversity in her work and takes pride in her hands-on approach with each of her clients and their advisors.
Shelly is married and lives with her husband and daughter in Rancho Peñasquitos. She enjoys singing, dancing, traveling, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
